RockJock’s Steel Bumper Tow Bar Mounting Kit for JL Wrangler, JL Unlimited and JT Gladiator vehicles provides you with a heavy duty, easy to install tow bar mounting plate that simply replaces the stock under-bumper chin panel on your vehicle. Our new plate bolts directly to the bottom of the factory bumper and the bottom of the frame, in place of the factory panel.
The RockJock plate is fabricated from laser cut and machined steel components and powder coated semi-gloss black for maximum durability. The plate’s slim design retains maximum clearance and approach angle.

Winch Compatibility:

  • If you are installing a winch via use of winch plate, many winch plates interfere with the mounting of this tow kit, causing compatibility issues. If you do not intend to use our , review this tow kit’s for clarity (with regards to mounting hole availability) before purchasing this kit or another manufacturer's winch plate.
  • 2024 Year Model Note: if your vehicle is equipped a factory installed winch you must retain the factory installed winch plate! You will notice that the factory plate features slotted holes, allowing it to be adjusted to fit after this tow plate is installed.

Notes:

  • This kit is only applicable to vehicles with the factory installed steel bumper.
  • For factory installed plastic bumper applications, see our Kit.
  • Plate is finished in semi-gloss black powder coat.
  • This kit is not for use with aftermarket bumpers.
  • If you are installing this kit on a 2024 year model vehicle with a factory installed winch, you will retain the factory winch mounting plate and adjust it to fit after installation of this tow kit.
