This Johnny Joint Tool from RockJock is designed to make assembly and disassembly of our 2 in. Johnny Joint Rod Ends simple!
For Johnny Joint rebuilds & repairs, this tool can be used either in a bench vise, or it is compact enough that it may also be used for on-the-vehicle jobs, on or off the trail!
Components consist of a CNC machined heat treated steel body, 3/8 in.-16 all-thread, and premium thrust bearings.

- 2” Machined Johnny Joints (that press into axle housings) – All Styles
Tool Includes:
- (1) Complete 2 in. Johnny Joint Tool Assembly
Tool Features:
- Easily assembles and disassembles Johnny Joints
- CNC Machined Heat Treated Steel Components
- Flats machined on the base for ease of locking the tool into a vice
- Washer that retains all components for storage
Notes:
- This tool will NOT work with these balls: CE-91122-11, CE-91122-12, CE-91122-13, CE-91122-14.
- This tool will work on all 2 in. Johnny Joint bodies (forged or weld-on), but we have no control over how they were installed into a vehicle. You may find that you have a Johnny Joint on an axle housing that the tool will not come close to fitting onto. In these instances, the only solution is to modify the tool, as shown in the second photo in the photo gallery of this product.
