RockJock’s Tapered Knuckle Bushing is used when relocating or repairing the tapered steering rod end holes in JK Wrangler or Unlimited Knuckles.
Use when flipping tie rods and drag links to the top sides of the steering arms by drilling out the existing tapered in hole(s) the knuckle(s) to .875 in. and then installing this bushing from the top of the knuckle.
Following the same process, but installing the sleeve from the bottom simply replaces worn or damaged tapers on a stock steering configuration vehicle.
This tapered sleeve is included with our JK-9704RDL reversed JK Drag Link.
Bushing is CNC machined billet steel and features stock JK tie rod and drag link rod end taper.
