RockJock’s Spring Plates for leaf spring vehicles are one of our original, oldest products! Our plates (for spring-under applications) are extremely heavy duty box style units that create a ramp at the ends of the plates to assist them in sliding over rocks, while protecting the u-bolt nuts inside them at the same time!
All plates feature a 1/4 in. thick steel top plate, 3/16 in. steel sides and bottom skid plates, slotted holes to allow them to bolt to axle housings with 2 1/2 in., up to 3 1/4 in. OD axle tubes, optional, replaceable shock and sway bar mounting studs, and a semi-gloss black powder coat finish for durability.

This Spring Plate Set is designed for use with 2 1/2 in. wide leaf springs (commonly found in the rear of Jeep CJs as well as front and rear of Jeep YJs) and includes shock mounting AND sway bar mounting studs.


Kit Fits:

  • Universal – vehicles with 2 1/2 in. wide springs, requiring shock and sway bar mounting studs (spring under applications)
  • 82-86 Jeep CJ (rear) – all models requiring shock and sway bar mounting studs (spring under applications)
  • 87-95 YJ Wrangler (front or rear) – all models requiring shock and sway bar mounting studs (spring under applications)

  • Sides and Bottom  =  3/16 in. thick laser and formed cut steel
  • 2 1/2 in. width gap between holes for a clean fit with 2 1/2 in. wide leaf springs

  • Largest Axle Tube Fitment  =  3 1/4 in. OD tube

Notes:

  • For use with 2 1/2 in. wide leaf springs in a spring-under application only!
  • For use with 2 1/2 in. – 3 1/4 in. OD axle tubes only!
  • For use with 1/2 in. thread u-bolts only!
  • Shock and sway bar studs are easily replaceable should one become bent or otherwise damaged.
